When we arrived in Purros, we visit a traditional Himbas village. This visit with a guide was interesting to understand their culture and their way of life. They are happy, far from the modern world.

The Purros valley is incredibly beautiful, the himbas villages are always in fantastic areas.

Our guide ...
After one night in the purros campsite with showers into the trees, we took the gravel roads to Orupembe to enjoy the various landscape of the Kaokoland ...
During the morning, really not usual cloudy sky ...

Along the road we met many himbas villages in the middle of nowhere .... but without guide, really difficult to communicate with them.

After few hours with the Himbas, we took the road to Opuwo ... this road is going again into the Hoarusib river ...

Here is our campsite for the night ... Nice place, nice braii , ...
After a short stop in Opuwo, we drove towards ETOSHA national park ...
